| It is silenet here today with no kids, hubby, music or tv on. So I thought I would update my Blog here.
As of late I have once again been seeing how much I have changed since this time last year.
Things that I felt were important, people who I thought were important to me no longer are and when
they hurt me and I know they are no longer needed in my life I can move on a lot easier and not go back, which is a big thing for me.
My mom and I still are not talking but she has had contact with Cleo. Which annoys me because she puts Cleo is such a bad situation and I
do not want Cleo thinking she has to hide things from because of her grandma and at the same time I do not like seeing her hurt either because she knows
what I have said and knows it is for her protection. The other thing is my mom talks about respect but does not respect when I say NO contact with my family.
Such a hypocrite. I cannot wait to move in February to the Suburbs area away from my mom. It will lessen the chances of running into her alot.
So that leads me to my new news. A co- worker of Gords offered to rent out her 5 bedroom house from February till sometime in the Spring, or it sells.
Which will be nice for Gord since it is only a 5 minute walk from Wal-Mart where he works. It also means that I will have a room for my art stuff a WHOLE room to
just my Arts and craft stuff. Whoohoo it will be nice :D
Politcs - since my last entry the politics of Canada are going to the dogs in my opinion. Harper just avoided the No - confidence vote, and I say forget it
lets get the crap over with. If we are going to have another election lets get that over with as well. Blah enough about politics or I will start getting narly lol.
Art/ Photography/Website and other projects
There is so much to be doing, but right now it is Yule Gifts on the agenda and writing. In the New year I will take stock of what is going to be done or what will
have to wait till after the move. But one thing is for sure I am getting published I have finally reached a plateau where I think I can finish my poetry book and one novel.
Funny how life inspires you to be able to finish things.
Anyways I will update more as I figure things out.

| Hello one and all after a bit of an absence I have returned. I have been rather busy as of late and weirdly enough constantly happy and pain free.
I decided a couple of weeks ago to let things be with my mom and have not had contact with her since our last argument. It is apparent to me she needs help and I am not going to be the one to do all the work for her. So whatever happens I leave it in the Goddesses hand and will deal with whatever comes. As a result of this stance with my mom things have been pretty quiet. I have some stress with my kids regarding attitudes and such, but I feel I have been able to deal with it a lot better since I am not stressed out about my mom.
So that leads me to the next part of my blog, Thanksgiving. The kids are out at the inlaws already and Gord and I will be going sometime out to the farm this afternoon. Since yesterday I have been thinking what do I have to be thankful for this time around? Upon reflection here is what I came up with.
- I am thankful that for my marriage and my friendship with my spouse.
- I am thankful to have my kids healthy (and cavity free to lol :)
- I am thankful that two weeks ago I was able to start walking again and not have issues where the nerve damage was.
- I am thankful I have not had to take any pain killers either :)
- I am thankful for my friends online and offline.
- I am thankful for the progress I have made in regards to my novel writing, screenplays, and all other artistic pursuits. It is amazing to think that in the next two years I can make them all a reality :)
- I am also thankful for the kittens we have had the pleasure of looking after and being able to keep Onyx and Socks; and the connection we have developed :)
- I am also thankful for my inlaws, they are the best :)
So there you go I could add a lot more, but I think that covers the most of it :)

Now as for politics.
The other day when I was updating my Elections thread on MW I realized that Harper was once again a sneaky bastard for putting the election on the 14th ( which is tomorrow). With the holiday weekend how many people do you think will have returned home to make sure they vote? I am hoping that those who did travel did their mail in votes or the advanced voting that occurred earlier this month.
Another thing that really bothers me is the way the polls look it does look like Harper may get re-elected and I hope those polls are wrong. It is bad enough he has ruined our Country's peace keeping image, and it is certainly annoying that he cannot keep his word worth shit. Says one thing and then does another how can we put our countries future in the hands of someone like that?
Well by tomorrow night I guess we will see what happens.

Now as for Art news
Well I am in the process of getting my new Etsy store up and running. So as a result I have been finishing up some old jewelery pieces and have made several new ones. ( go to http://ravenseyeart.deviantart.com/gallery/ if you want to see what else I have been up to )
My thing right now is making Tiaras, hats and dolls so I hope in the next week or two ( after the Halloween costumes are made) to show show you my latest work :)
